Senior Aaron Wendels (Fond du Lac, Wis.) helped lead the Sabre men's volleyball team to a 5-3 record for the month of March and clinch a spot in the NACC Tournament. The senior had a team-high 96 kills for a 3.43 kills per set average, while also producing the second-highest hitting percentage on the team at .194. On the defensive end, Wendels had the third-highest dig total at 45 or 1.61 digs per set for March and was also third on the team with seven total blocks. During the month, he recorded double-digit kills in all but two matches including a season-best 21 kills in a five set road win at Lakeland. He also had a pair of matches with three service aces and totaled 11 aces for the month. Wendels currently ranks second in the NACC with a 3.38 kills per set average and a 3.79 points per set average.
