Hunter Vorva (Kalamazoo, Mich.) had a big month in goal for Marian posting a 5-1-1 record for the month with a 1.42 goals against average. The goalie won back-to-back NCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading Marian to a perfect 4-0-0 start. He played a crucial role in an upset of then-ranked No. 2 Adrian making 46 saves and holding the Bulldogs scoreless on six power play opportunities. Vorva allowed two or fewer goals in all but one game during November and his lone loss came against the top-ranked team in the nation, UW-Stevens Point. He also posted a .947 save percentage for the month and made a total of 180 saves with a 31-save shutout against Finlandia.
