Freshman Sally Moris (White Bear Township, Minn.) had a dominant start to the inaugural women's lacrosse season leading the Sabres in nearly every statistical category. Moris scored 36 goals over 10 games during March adding five assists to lead Marian with 41 total points. She also led the squad with 49 ground balls, 38 caused turnovers, and 54 draw controls. Moris currently ranks fifth in the nation, first in the MWLC, with 3.80 ground balls per game, and is also 25th in the nation, also the MWLC leader, with 4.90 ground balls per game. She posted a pair of double-digit point games during the month including a 10-goal performance in a 19-12 victory over Johnson & Wales.
