Sabre women's basketball drops NACC tilt at Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. - Marian University women's basketball (1-17, 1-12 NACC) closed out the season series falling to Benedictine by an 88-51 final.

The Sabres had a tough time slowing down the offense of Benedictine who finished 32-70 (.457) from the field and made 11 three-pointers.  Marian had their best quarter come in the second stanza when they shot 5-14 (.357) from the field and scored 15 points.

Senior Rachel Serchen finished in double-figures for points for the seventh-consecutive game scoring a game-high 16 points and completed her first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds.  Fellow senior Molly Magnus scored 13 points after going 7-8 (.875) from the charity stripe.
