Junior Ally Fox (Greenville, Wis.) had a dominant month in all facets leading Marian to a 13-7 record over April including a 9-1 mark at home. The second baseman hit .554 over the 20 games with 36 hits, five of which were doubles. She also went on to score a team-high 22 runs with 11 walks. On the basepaths, Fox stole 15 bases in 16 attempts setting a single season Marian record and an all-time record in the process. Fox was able to earn NACC player of the week honors after hitting .789 with an .840 on-base percentage as the Sabres swept Alverno, Lakeland, and Wis. Lutheran at home. She closed out the regular season with the highest batting average in the NACC at .529 and is on pace to be the only hitter in program history to finish with a batting average above .500.
