Sabre women's basketball drops two at St. Norbert Tip-Off

DE PERE, Wis. - Marian University women's basketball (0-3, 0-1 NACC) hit the road for the first time this season falling to St. Norbert and Carthage at the St. Norbert Tip-Off.

In the opener of the weekend, the Marian defense had a tough time stopping the Green Knight offense falling 88-26.  The Sabres were led by senior Rachel Serchen who had a team-high 10 points, while junior Carley Wilson had seven rebounds.

Marian would face Carthage in the consolation game of the tournament falling 82-40.  The Sabres had a strong fourth quarter in the game where they were able to score 23 points.  Once again, Sechen led the Sabres with nine points, while freshman Paris Harris chipped in eight points. 

The Sabres remain on the road to play at Concordia Chicago for a 2 p.m. tip Saturday, November 24.
