Sabre women's golf finishes sixth at NACC Championship

RACINE, Wis. - Marian University women's golf shot a 470, 462, and 463 for a three-round total of 1,395 to finish sixth at the NACC Championship.

Tayler Wise competed for the first time this season after suffering an injury and nearly missed her fourth All-NACC selection finishing in a tie for 12th.  Wise shot under 100 twice with a 98 in the opening round and a 90 in her third round.

Shelby Davidson finished the event in 28th place with her best round coming in the first round after shooting a 112.  She then carded a 117 and a 123.  Allison Grosenick shot a 111 in the second round for her best round of the event as she finished two spots behind Davidson.

Rounding out the Sabre lineup was Sydney Clark who shot three consistent rounds with her 129 first round serving as her best round.  She would end the event in 33rd place.

Aurora earned the team title after boasting the three top golfers for the meet.  Kallie Sakamoto finished with a 239 to earn the individual title.

This completes the fall portion of the season for Marian women's golf with the spring schedule to be announced later this winter.
