Marian women's golf finishes fifth at NACC Preview

RACINE, Wis. - Marian University women's golf shot a 425 to finish fifth out of nine teams at the NACC Preview, held at Meadowbrook Country Club.

Morgan Hernandez led the Sabres with the lowest round of her career with a 91 to finish tied for seventh.  Kristen Frawley was next in for the Sabres in 25th with a 107, while Jacqueline Ruud was just three strokes behind Frawley in 27th.  Shelby Davidson rounded out the Marian lineup and scoring with a 117.

St. Norbert earned the team title with a 354, four strokes ahead of Aurora, and were led by Kayley Sjoholm who shot an 83 to win the meet by two strokes.

Marian next gears up for their home meet Sept. 14-15 at Whispering Springs.
