Meerdink (Oostburg, Wis.) led the Sabres in scoring all season long and finished the year with 33 points stemming from 14 goals and five assists. The Sabre freshman scored in 11 games during the year and became only the seventh student-athlete in program history to score at least four goals in a single game October 13 against Alverno. Meerdink had a nine-point game in that victory against the Inferno and added a four-point game against Maranatha Baptist where she scored a goal and added two assists. At the end of the regular season, Meerdink ranked fifth in the NACC and seventh amongst all freshmen in the entire nation for goals scored. Her 14 goals this year was also tied for the 10th most goals from any Sabre student-athlete in a single season.
Louko (Fond du Lac, Wis.) had another strong offensive season for the Sabres earning her first all-conference nod. The Fond du Lac, Wis. native ranked second on the team in scoring with 26 points and led the NACC with 10 assists on the season. Louko had four games this season where she recorded multiple assists and finished each of those games with at least four points. Her best game of the season came at Lakeland where she recorded two goals with two assists for a six-point game. In just two seasons as a Sabre, Louko has recorded 17 goals with 16 assists and currently sits in 18th on the all-time scoring list with 50 points. Her double-digit assist season is only the 13th time in program history a student-athlete has had 10 or more assists in a single season.
