WATERTOWN, Wis. - Marian University women's soccer (2-4-0, 0-0-0 NACC) snapped a four-game losing streak defeating Maranatha Baptist 8-0.

Three different Sabres had multi-goal victories in the win as Marian scored a pair of goals in the first half and added six in the second half.  Freshman Ashley Welk and Shannon Coughlin traded the first four goals to give Marian the 4-0 lead.

Junior Danielle Flouro then scored a goal after assisting an earlier Coughlin goal.  Freshman Rosa Lezotte would find the back of the net in between a pair of junior Emily Hill goals to seal the scoring.

The final five Marian goals came in a span of just 16:07.  The Sabres finished the game with 38 shots to only two for Maranatha Baptist.

Sophomore Kylie Lange (2-4-0) earned the victory in goal after playing in the first half, while freshman Brianna Levine saved the only shot on goal Marian allowed in the second half.

Marian returns home for their NACC opener Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. against Edgewood.
