MILWAUKEE - Junior Emma Lewandowski was voted as the NACC player of the week, as voted on by the sports information directors of the league, after leading Marian to sweeps of Dominican and Concordia Chicago.
Lewandowski (Wauconda, Ill.) earned a pair of doubles wins and singles wins as the Sabres opened NACC play with all of her victories coming at the top flight. She opened with a clean 8-0 sweep at the No. 1 doubles flight against Dominican as she teamed up with Mackenzie Meyers. She then took her No. 1 singles flight match by a 6-4, 6-2 tally.
