AURORA, Ill. - Marian University cross country competed at the NACC Championships from Oakhurst Forest Preserve.
The Sabre women were led by Alyssa Zuhlke who finished in 41st place with a time of 26:27.48. Kayla Gregar wasn't far behind taking 53rd place clockign in at 27:01.13. Sydney Lukes and Adellie Requena rounded out the Marian lineup wiht times of 31:23.43 and 36:25.71, respectively.
Emma Roberts of Benedictine earned the individual title wiht a time of 21:41.25, while Edgewood beat out Benedictine by four points to earn the team title.
Jacob Leiden led the way on the men's side of things finishing in 62nd place with a time of 29:45.79, while Austin Connelly timed in at 35:14.08. Jarod Silhavy was the final Sabre runner crossing the line in 38:50.78.
Benedictine earned the team title by a seven-point margin and were led by the individual title winner, Marcos Garcia, who finished in 24:44.51.
