PLAYERS TO WATCH

#9 • Adrian Calderon • Sophomore

Sophomore Adrian Calderon looks to lead the offense after a strong open to his Sabre career.  Calderon finished the season second on the team with 242 kills and a 2.72 kills per set average, 13th in the NACC.  He also had a team-high 16 service aces to go with 141 digs and 31 total blocks.  Calderon posted double-digit kills in 12 matches with a season-high 19 coming at Illinois Wesleyan.  He had four double-doubles in his first campaign including against North Park where he had 14 kills to go with a season-high 16 digs.

#3 • Trent Goo Sun • Senior

Senior Trent Goo Sun served in several different roles a season ago and will look to serve as a leader in his final campaign.  Goo Sun finished the year with 78 kills, 516 assists, 12 service aces, 135 digs, and 22 total blocks.  He earned a NACC Offensive Player of the Week award after posting a triple-double against UW-Stevens Point where he had 11 kills, 25 assists, and 10 digs.  Goo Sun posted at least 30 assists in five matches with a career-high 43 coming against Concordia Chicago.  He also had double-digit kills against Wisconsin Lutheran and Illinois Tech.

#25 • Giancarlo Bou • Sophomore

Sophomore Giancarlo Bou looks to serve in an expanded role after a solid opening season at Marian.  Bou was second on the team with 475 assists finishing the year with a 5.34 assists per set average.  He also finished the season with a team-high 16 service aces.  Bou finished with at least 30 assists in three matches with a career-high 43 coming against Illinois Tech.  He also had at least 10 digs in three matches with his season-best of 13 coming in that same match against the Scarlet Hawks.  From the service line, he had multiple aces in five matches with four coming against Wisconsin Lutheran.

Marian University has called Sadoff Gymnasium it's home gymnasium since 1982. Marian hosts home events in men's and women's basketball, as well as volleyball in Sadoff Gymnasium.
 
The gymnasium features two brand new, state-of-the-art scoreboards that were installed in 2010, locker rooms for home and visiting teams, as well as a newly renovated weight room and fitness area (2012) and athletic training room (2012). The facility also features offices for the majority of Marian's athletic staff.
 
Sadoff Gymnasium has wireless access and a capacity of 800.
