WELCOME TO HERR-BAKER FIELD

HOME OF MARIAN BASEBALL

Herr-Baker Field from near behind home
Herr-Baker Field from third base line
Herr-Baker Field from outfield

Herr–Baker Field at Marian University will honor Ron Herr, the Marian University baseball coach who led Marian to its first NCAA Division III baseball tournament berth, and the Baker family, longtime benefactors of St. Mary’s Springs High School.

Like Marian’s Smith Fields — which is also shared with St. Mary’s Springs — Herr–Baker Field is one of the finest Division III college athletic facilities in Wisconsin. Herr–Baker features stadium and bleacher seating, lights, lighted sunken dugouts, concessions, restrooms, and media facilities.

Because of different seasonal starting dates, both Marian and Springs will be able to use Herr–Baker Field for games and practices. Herr–Baker will be able to host Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference baseball tournaments, WIAA baseball regional and sectional games, and NCAA Division III baseball tournament games.

In addition, it was announced in the summer of 2016 Herr-Baker Field would be home to the Fond du Lac Baseball Club as part of the Northwoods League.  With the new addition, Herr-Baker Field went under construction to improve seating and build a locker room, patio, concourse and picnic areas.
