FOND DU LAC - Marian University baseball (14-23, 8-16 NACC) finished its season with a split against St. Norbert falling 3-2 before a 9-8 victory.

GAME 1
- Marian was able to start strongly with freshman Connor Schroeder driving in a run in the first inning.
- The Sabre lead was built to two with a run-producing single from sophomore Ayden Kanaman in the second.
- The 2-0 lead held all the way until the seventh when SNC got on the board with a double.
- Marian held its 2-1 lead until the ninth and started the inning with two errors but the second Green Knight reached on an error.
- St. Norbert then took its first lead with a two-run homer in the following at bat.
- Marian was able to get two runners on base in the bottom of the frame but couldn't push a run across.
GAME 2
- Using the momentum from the game one finish, St. Norbert took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning.
- A three-run homer from sophomore Zach Ennis in the third gave Marian its first lead of the game, his second long ball of the season.
- Productive outs in the fourth and fifth inning saw Marian build its lead to 6-2.
- The Green Knights responded in the sixth plating five runs to lead 7-6.
- The lead was short lived as Marian responded with three runs of their own in the bottom half to lead 9-7.
- Junior Lucas Lemons led the charge with a double that brought home a run.
- A first-and-third double steal saw Lemons score before a two-out single from freshman Connor Schroeder brought home the final run of the frame.
- St. Norbert opened the ninth with three straight hits to cut their deficit down to 9-8.
- Marian was able to strand the tying run on third, however, with a pop out, strikeout looking, and flyout to left field.

- The Sabres stranded multiple runners on base in four innings.
- The Marian defense had three erorrs leading to one unearend run, while SNC had just one error.
GAME 2
- St. Norbert had 13 hits to only 10 for the Sabres.
- Each team had three errors on defense with Marian scoring four unearned runs and SNC two.
- Four different Sabres recorded multiple hits and all but three hitters in the lineup scored a run.
- Marian improved to 20-6 all-time against the Green Knights with wins in 10 of the previous 11 meetings.
