The soccer field at Smith Field was a soccer-specific stadium which had its first game played on it in the fall of 2002. The field was natural grass until turf was installed for the complex in the summer of 2019. The players are guarded against the weather by plexiglass dugouts and team rooms to meet in prior to a match and during the halftime interval. The field is lit to allow for night games.

Smith Field became the home of Marian lacrosse when the sport was announced as an addition to Sabre athletics in 2016.  The first soccer game at Smith Field was played in the fall of 2002 and the first lacrosse game was played in the spring of 2018.
