Marian University

Senior Jack Sampson (Portage, Mich.) continues to put up points for the Marian University NCAA hockey team and helped lead the Sabres to their fourth Superior Showdown Championship.  He netted the game-winning goal in the first game of the Superior Showdown against St. Scholastica before recording four assists in the championship game against Gustavus Adolphus.  He also closed out the first half of the season with a goal and an assist in the opening game of the Trine series.  On the season, Sampson leads Marian with 22 points and has recorded at least one point in all but two games.  He also has three multi-point games with two coming in December.
