Sophomore Chelsea King (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) went 5-0-1 during October leading Marian to its first home postseason match since 2013.  She was able to earn three NACC Defensive Player of the Week awards as she boasted a goals-against average of 0.67 with an .879 save percentage and 29 total saves.  King didn't allow multiple goals in a single game for the month posting shutouts against Benedictine and Lakeland in back-to-back games.  The clean sheet against Benedictine saw her stop eight shots.  She also had eight saves at home against Dominican to open the month with a 2-1 victory.  King then led Marian to its first postseason victory since 2013, excluding an MSOE forfeit in 2018, making a save against Aurora in the NACC Tournament Quarterfinals.
