Senior Kayla Kolpitcke (Powell, Wyo.) became the first Sabre in the women's ice hockey program to earn multiple All-NCHA awards after another dominating season.  Her Sabre women's ice hockey career came to an end with a 1.49 goals-against average over the final six games of the season with 202 saves and a .957 save percentage.  She would set single season Marian records with her 1.70 goals-against average and .957 save percentage.  Kolpitcke is the first Sabre goaltender to ever have a goals-against average below 2.00 and a save percentage higher than .935.  Her .957 save percentage on the season led the NCHA and ranks third in the entire nation.  The transition to spring saw her also have a strong start to the lacrosse season.  Kolpitcke earned a NACC Defensive Player of the Week award in large part due to a performance against Hendrix that saw her grab 12 ground balls and cause five turnovers.  She also reached the 100 ground balls plateau in that game against the Warriors.
