Senior Evelynn Spaeth (Sheboygan, Wis.) had a dominating end to her time as a Sabre and was a major part of the Sabres going 10-2 in the month of May.  Spaeth started in all but one of those games going 16-for-31 (.516) at the plate with six runs driven in and nine runs scored.  She was also hit by three pitches and drew one walk in the month to give her a team-best on-base percentage of .571.  Spaeth had hte second-best slugging percentage on the team in May at .645 after recording a pair of doubles and a triple.  She was held hitless in just two games during May with four multi-hit efforts, three of which were three-hit games.  In the NACC Tournament, Spaeth went 5-for-14 (.357) with a team-high four runs driven in and two more scored.  Against Aurora in an elimination game win, Spaeth was 3-for-4 with a run driven in and a run scored.  She also had a bases-clearing double that drove in three runs in an elimination-game victory against CUW.
