(Chicago, IL) - Marian University picked up their first victory of the season on Sunday as they defeated Calumet County-St. Joseph's 7-2. Marian won five singles matches and two doubles matches to earn the victory. 

Michelle Zwicky (Fond du Lac, WI), Reilly Connaher (Fond du Lac, WI), Rebecca Heczko (Iron Mountain, MI), Rachel Brotz (Sheboygan, WI), and Bryanna Paradiso (Marengo, IL) all won their singles matches in straight sets. 

In doubles competition, Connaher and Zwicky teamed up for an 8-4 victory at \#1, while Paradiso and Sarah Brooker (Appleton, WI) were 8-0 winners at \#3.
