(Sheboygan, WI) - Marian University picked up their first conference victory of the season on Friday, defeating Lakeland College, 7-2. The Sabres are now 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the Northern Athletics Conference. 

The Sabres were victorious in five singles matches, as well as two doubles matches. 

Reilly Connaher (Fond du Lac, WI) was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at \#2 singles, while Rebecca Heczko (Iron Mountain, MI), Rachel Brotz (Sheboygan, WI), Sarah Brooker (Appleton, WI), and Bryanna Paradiso (Marengo, IL) all won 6-0, 6-0 in their singles matches. 

Brotz and Heczko won 8-0 at \#2 doubles, while Brooker and Paradiso did the same at \#3 doubles.
