MILWAUKEE - Marian University women's tennis (0-1, 0-1 NACC) dropped an 8-1 match to Edgewood before rain halted their second match of the day against Alverno.

Junior Meg Hartzell at No. 1 singles was able to earn the lone victory for the Sabres against the Eagles when she won the first set 6-4 before winning the tie breaker third set 10-4.  Freshman Emma Lewandowski at No. 4 singles was able to force a third set tie breaker after a 6-2 second set win but lost the winner take all set by a close 10-9 score.

Marian holds a 3-0 lead over the Inferno after winning all three doubles matches.  A makeup date has yet to be announced for the conclusion of the match.
