OSHKOSH, Wis. - Marian University women's tennis (3-11, 3-6 NACC) dropped a pair of non-conference matches to close out the fall portion of the season.
The opener of the day saw the Sabres take on UW-Stout with the Blue Devils sweeping the Sabres 9-0. Aeryn Olson was able to force three sets at the No. 2 singles flight but ultimately fell 7-5, 3-6, 10-4. Carly Paulson was able to win five games in the opening set of her top-flight match.
Marian was able to earn a doubles victory to open their match against UW-Oshkosh but fell to the Titans 8-1. Paulson and Olson were able to earn the win by an 8-6 score at the top-flight. Olson was then once again able to force three sets at her No. 2 singles flight match but once again suffered a tough defeat at 6-3, 2-6, 10-4.
