FOND DU LAC - Marian women's tennis (2-4, 2-3 NACC) won their second match in a row defeating Lakeland 9-0.
Marian opened with a dominating showing in doubles only dropping five games between the three flights. Emma Lewandowski and Carly Paulson took the top flight 8-1, while Kyrsten Bruce and Erica Counter took the second flight 8-2. Aeryn Olson and Katrina Pokorny also earned an 8-2 at the No. 3 doubles flight.
Lewandowski, at the No. 1 singles flight, and Olson, No. 5 singles flight, each earned perfect sweeps in singles action at 6-0, 6-0. Bruce, No. 3, and Aubree Helstad, No. 6, each only dropped one set in their victories. Counter at No. 4 then earned a pair of 6-1 wins, while Paulson completed the sweep with a pair of 6-2 wins at No. 2.
Marian remains at home to take on Illinois Tech Saturday, April 24 for a noon start.
