Marian men's volleyball vs. Dominican (Jan. 25, 2025)

#2 • Andrew Ayeni • Junior

Junior Andrew Ayeni is the top returner for the Sabres after earning a spot on the All-NACC Honorable Mention team last season.  Ayeni was a valuable weapon on both ends of the floor averaging 10.3 points per game with 48 assists 14 blocks, and 35 steals.  He had double-digit points in 15 games during the season including the final seven of the year.  Ayeni scored at least 20 points in two games netting 20 against Dominican and a season-high 21 at home against MSOE.  Prior to that performance against MSOE, Ayeni nearly had a double-double against Rockford scoring 13 points to go with nine boards.  On the defensive end, he had at least three steals in five games with a season-high of four coming in a road win over Illinois Tech.

Marian men’s basketball vs. Buena Vista (Nov. 23, 2024)

#15 • Alex Vassilakis • Senior

Senior Alex Vassilakis had a strong first season with the Sabres and was the top rebounder for the squad last season.  He was one of just two Sabres to start in all 26 games during the season averaging 7.5 points per game to go with a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game.  Vassilakis had a pair of double-doubles on the season going for 13 points and 10 rebounds against Illinois Tech and No. 17 Wisconsin Lutheran.  He would grab double-digit rebounds in six games finishing third in the NACC with 2.62 offensive rebounds per game, and ninth in the conference for total rebounds.  Vassilakis had double-digit points in eight games.  One of his top performances came at Rockford where he shot 4-of-7 (.571) from beyond the arc as part of a season-high 18 points.  He also had seven boards and a steal in the road victory.

#24 • Harper Krolak • Sophomore

Sophomore Harper Krolak looks to build off of a strong finish to last season and carve out a larger role this campaign.  Krolak played in all 26 games last season averaging 6.1 points per game with 18 steals and 45 assists.  He finished with double-digit points in six games including a season-best 18-point game at MSOE in the NACC Tournament.  He had at least three assists in eight games and shot 48.6 percent from the field.

Sadoff Gym floor

Marian University has called Sadoff Gymnasium it's home gymnasium since 1982. Marian hosts home events in men's and women's basketball, as well as volleyball in Sadoff Gymnasium.
 
The gymnasium features two brand new, state-of-the-art scoreboards that were installed in 2010, locker rooms for home and visiting teams, as well as a newly renovated weight room and fitness area (2012) and athletic training room (2012). The facility also features offices for the majority of Marian's athletic staff.
 
Sadoff Gymnasium has wireless access and a capacity of 800.
