PLAYERS TO WATCH

Marian NCAA men's ice hockey vs. Bethel (Nov. 1, 2024)

#3 • Noah Pickart • Senior • Defenseman

Senior Noah Pickart looks to continue to cement himself as one of the best defenseman in program history after being named an All-American by DIIIHockeyNews.com.  He finished the season with two goals and 18 assists putting him second in the NCHA for points and assists among defenseman.  He opened the season with a dramatic overtime game-winner against Bethel as part of a multi-point game.  Pickart had three other multi-point games posting multiple assists against Aurora, MSOE, and Lake Forest.  From the nine conference series, he was held to one or fewer points in only three of them.  Through 56 career games, Pickart ranks ninth all-time for defenseman assists with 36 and has 44 total points.  Pickart became the first Marian defenseman to earn all-conference honors since Gianni Mangone after the 2016-17 season.

#31 • Tyler Fromolz • Sohpomore • Goalie

Sophomore Tyler Fromolz was an All-NCHA Freshman Team pick and looks to compete against a loaded goalie room for minutes on the ice.  Fromolz posted a 3.85 goals-against average over 15 games making 378 total saves.  He posted at least 30 saves in five games including a season-high 48 saves in an overtime defeat against No. 4/5 St. Norbert.  In another overtime defeat, Fromolz stopped 37 shots against No. 6/8 Adrian.  One of his top performances came in the opener against Lake Forest where he allowed just one goal and made 28 saves.
