FOND DU LAC - The Marian University eSports Valorant team (8-0) defeated Washington University in St. Louis 13-7, 13-8 to qualify for the Division Championship.

  MAP 1 - ASCENT

• Marian was able to open with a strong start thanks to strong performances from Tyron Moore (H1TBOX) and Ryu Yang (Evolution).
• The duo combined for 37 kills with an ECON rating of 127 and 114, respectively.
• The Sabres were able to record seven plants with two defuses on the map.
• Marian held a slim advantage in first eliminations at 11-9.

MAP 2 - BIND

• The second map proved to be slightly more competitive, but Marian was still able to secure a sweep.
• Andrew Burkhart (LHC) had a dominating match for Marian finishing with 27 kills, a 344 average combat score, and 91 ECON rating.
• Marian had four of the top five average combat scores with three student-athletes averaging at least 219.
• The Sabres had 12 first eliminations to only nine for Washington St. Louis.

 

• The Marian Valorant team has dropped just one map this season with seven clean sweeps.
