GOLFERS TO WATCH

Yinan Lu • Junior

Junior Yinan Lu had another terrific season becoming the first Sabre ever to average under 80 strokes at 78.54 over 13 rounds.  Lu reset her own single-season Marian record carding 74 at the Benedictine Fall Invite and the opening round of the Midwest Region Classic.  She was the medalist at the Marian Invite and earned second-place finishes at the Fighting Scot Invitational and Benedictine Fall Invite.  Lu went on to earn All-NACC recognition for a second straight season finishing third at the NACC Championship with rounds of 79, 78, and 76.  She finished below 80 strokes in seven of her rounds.

Katelyn Bucciarelli • Junior

Junior Katelyn Bucciarelli had a strong season finishing with the third-best stroke average on the team at 85.31 over 13 rounds.  She finished with 85 strokes or fewer in six of her founds posting a season-best of 80 strokes at the first round of the Battle on the Border.  She also had 83 strokes in three rounds, two of which came at the NACC Championship where she finished tied for 16th.  Bucciarelli finished in the top 10 at the Fighting Scot Invitational with rounds of 84 and 85.
