MILWAUKEE - Marian University women's tennis received 20 total points in the NACC preseason poll, as voted on by the sports information professionals and head coaches of the league.
Edgewood was a unanimous pick to win the conference grabbing all 18 first-place tallies. St. Norbert and MSOE were in a tight race for second at 132 and 128 points, respectively. Concordia Wisconsin was the final school with more than 100 points at 104, while Illinois Tech was just eight points off of that pace. Wisconsin Lutheran was the final pick for the preseason conference tournament at 79 points. Concordia Chicago then received 53 points with Lakeland and Marian closing out the poll.
The top six teams at the end of the regular season will earn a spot in the conference tournament in the spring.  The tournament champion will receive the NACC's automatic berth in the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.
Marian opens the season at Edgewood Friday, Sept. 5.Â
