HARTFORD, Wis. - Marian University men's golf had rounds of 308 and 304 to place eighth at the WLC Fall Invite.

 

• Brady Brenner continued his strong season finishing tied for 14th with two rounds of 74.
• Brenner had 10 birdies on the day with six of them coming in his second round.
• Tyler Fromolz opened his day with an 78 before bouncing back with a 74 to finish in a tie for 31st.
• Just two shots off of that pace was Brett Ramme who had two rounds of 77.
• Brendan Bottem scored in each round for Marian with back-to-back rounds of 79.
• Tyler McGown continued the theme of consistent rounds carding an 83 followed by an 82.
• Competing for the first time this season was Samson Hamburg who had rounds of 91 and 84 as an individual.
• Highland Community College won the event behind Austin Dobbe who was the medalist after finishing seven-under par.
• Marian finished second among NACC schools in the field.
• This is the first time Marian has posted back-to-back rounds under 310 strokes since 2021.
• The two rounds caps a stretch of three rounds in three days for Marian.
