Biography
Katelyn Matenaer had a breakout season for the Sabre softball season earning All-NACC First Team recognition. Matenaer posted the sixth-best batting average in the conference hitting .441 to go with a .658 slugging percentage. Her 49 hits on the season were also good for eighth in the NACC. Matenaer had 16 multi-hit games and ended her sophomore season with five consecutive multi-hit games. Her most impressive doubleheader came against nationally-ranked No. 16 MSOE where she went 6-for-7 (.857) with a pair of runs scored.
