Nicole Stachon

Nicole Stachon was added to the Marian women's lacrosse staff in July of 2025.

Stachon recently finished her Marian playing career and is regarded as arguably the best to ever don the blue and white.  She earned All-NACC recognition twice in her career including a First Team selection in her final season.  In that final campaign she ranked sixth in the NACC for goals per game, eighth for points per game, and became just the second Sabre to reach 70 points in a single season with 73.  Stachon graduated as the program leader for games played, goals, assists, points, ground balls, free-position goals, and draw controls.  She also ranks second in the career records for caused turnovers with 84, one of just two student-athletes with more than 80 caused turnovers.  Stachon served as a captain for the team four of the five seasons she competed.  In the classroom, Stachon was a three-time CSC Academic All-District award winner.

Outside of Marian, Stachon spent time with the Wisconsin-based girls lacrosse travel club Black Lax.  She began her time with Black Lax as an assistant coach for the high school girls' team in the fall of 2023.  She then took over as the head coach of the U14 girls' team this past spring.  During this time she has been responsible for designing practice plans and teaching her athletes about improving their game to best suit the next level.

Stachon earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and recently completed a Master of Arts in Education degree with an emphasis on at-risk and alternative education.  Both degrees were earned at Marian University.
