Senior Daunte Fortner (Kingsford, Mich.) had a monster month recording 13 points over 10 games with eight goals and five assists.  After going scoreless in the first two games of the month, Fortner recorded at least one point in every game the rest of January except for one.  He had three multi-point games with two of the three being four-point efforts.  Fortner earned an NCHA Star of the Week after a multi-goal game against Augsburg followed by a four-point game in the opener against LFC where he had a goal with three assists.  A couple weekends later, Fortner had a four-point game in the finale against Lawrence where he recorded the first hat trick of his career.  Fortner currently ranks fourth in the NCHA for goals scored and seventh for total points.
