Junior Simon Ellingson (Fond du Lac, Wis.) opened the ACHA D2 season recording 11 points over seven games.  He led Marian in all offensive categories scoring five goals with six assists where four of his goals were power-play scores.  Ellingson had at least a point five of the seven games in the first month of the season.  He had a pair of four-point games with each game coming against Trine.  His first four-point game was at Trine and consisted of four assists, while his second saw him net a hat trick to go with an assist at the Marian Showcase.  Ellingson is already halfway to a career-best in points after recording 22 points in 24 games last season.
