Marian University

Junior Emilee Clarey (New Hartford, N.Y.) had an especially strong finish to the month that included a CFHC Defensive Player of the Week award.  She finished the month with a 2.34 goals-against average and a .727 save percentage as Marian went 3-2 against NCAA Division III opponents.  Clarey had at least eight saves in three games including a season-high 14 save at Mary Washington.  She allowed two or fewer goals in the final four games of the month.  As a team, Marian is enjoying a bounce-back season that saw the Sabres tie the single-season record for wins during October.
