Junior Cole Carlson (Fond du Lac, Wis.) record at least one point in eight of 10 games finishing with 11 points during the month of January.  Carlson had an especially strong finish to the month that saw him at one point score a goal in six straight games.  He finished the month with seven goals scored posting multiple points in two games.  Both of those games came in a series with Lawrence where he had five total points.  He opened that series with a goal and two assists before scoring twice in the finale, the second coming in overtime, to earn an NCHA Star of the Week award.
