Box Score (Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University dropped their conference opener to Concordia University-Wisconsin 78-35 on Tuesday evening at Sadoff Gymnasium. The Sabres shot just 26% from the floor as they fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the Northern Athletics Conference.

The Falcons held the Sabres to just one point for the first 12:16 of the first period and built a 25-1 lead. At the break, Concordia led 45-11.

In the second, the Falcons led throughout to move to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the NAC.

Marian was led by Brooke Haen (Oakfield, WI), as the junior scored 10 points. Emily Reiter (Hilbert, WI) and Jordan Dykstra (Cedar Grove, WI) both added 7 points.

The Falcons out-rebounded the Sabres 51-26 and their bench contributed with 52 points.

Marian is back in action again on Monday, as they will host Maranatha Baptist at 7:00 PM.
