(Fond du Lac, WI) - Adrian College completed the weekend sweep of Marian University on Saturday afternoon as they came away with a 9-1 victory. Adrian is now 2-0 on the season, while Marian fell to 1-2.

The Bulldogs scored once in the first period and then erupted for four goals in the second period to make it 5-0 heading into the final period. They added four more goals in the third.

Ryan Hitchcock (Butte, MT) scored Marian's only goal in the contest as he scored 2:55 into the third period. Adam Freeman (Wauwatosa, WI) and Tommy Fitzpatrick (Ft. McMurray, AB) assisted on the goal.

Adrian out-shot the Sabres 46-36 and finished the game 5-for-11 on the power play.
