(St. Paul, MN) - Hamline University won game two of the weekend series 2-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Sabres out-shot the Pipers 22-18 in the contest, but Hamline was able to light the lamp once in both the first and third periods to earn the victory.
Brooke Rundell scored at the 15:30 mark in the first period off assists from Rachel Deick and Mallory Steele to give Hamline a 1-0 lead. The game stayed this way until the 19:20 mark in the third when Melanie Leveille scored an empty-net goal off an Alli Miller assist.
Marian (2-7) is off until Saturday, January 9, when they will play at St. Mary's University (MN).
