(Milwaukee, WI) - The Sabres went 1-2 on Saturday at the MSOE Quadrangular held at the Kern Center. Marian lost 3-0 to Eureka College, 3-1 to Edgewood College, and then defeated MSOE 3-0. The Sabres are now 2-12 on the year.
Against Eureka (30-32, 22-25, 21-25), Kelsey Westerveld (Holmen, WI) had an impressive match as she led the team in kills (11) and digs (15). Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) recorded 20 assists.
In their 24-26, 25-20, 20-25, 19-25 loss to Edgewood, Westserveld led the team in kills with 17. Carlie Kinsey (Waukesha, WI) added 10 kills. Navis was credited with 30 assists, while Krystell Lucero (Two Rivers, WI) led the team with 16 digs.
The Sabres closed the day with a 25-19, 25-17, 26-24 victory over MSOE. Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) led the team with 11 kills, while Kinsey added 10. Navis had 28 assists and Lucero led the team with 14 digs. Aileen Maier (Pardeeville, WI) recorded a team-high 7 blocks.
