Box Score (Watertown, WI) - Marian University defeated Maranatha Baptist 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-20) on Tuesday evening to earn their first Northern Athletics Conference victory. Marian has now won back-to back matches to move to 3-12 on the year and 1-1 in the NAC.

The Sabres used a balance attack to defeat the Crusaders. The Sabres offensive attack was led by senior Kelsey Westerveld (Holmen, WI) as she provided 8 kills. Freshman Carlie Kinsey (Waukesha, WI) added 6 kills. Freshman Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) ran the offense efficiently as she recorded 20 assists.

Defensively, Westerveld led the team with 17 digs. Navis also added 10 digs. Kinsey led the team with four blocks.

Marian is back in action again on Saturday, as they will compete in the Lawrence University Triangular. They will open up with Carroll University at 1:00 PM and then face Lawrence University at 3:00 PM.
