(Appleton, WI) - The Sabres dropped a pair of matches on Saturday afternoon at the Lawrence University Triangular. The Sabres opened the day with a 3-1 loss to Carroll University and followed that up with a 3-0 defeat to Lawrence University.

Marian opened up their match with a 25-23 victory in the first set, but couldn't hang on. They lost the next three sets 25-18, 25-23, 25-12. Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) had a solid match with 10 kills and 15 digs. Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) dished out 28 assists, while Kelsey Westerveld (Holmen, WI) led the team with 20 digs.

In their 25-13, 25-22, 28-26 loss against the hosts, Andrea Milis (Darboy, WI) led the team with 6 kills. Westerveld led the defense with 13 digs.
