Box Score (Milwaukee, WI) - Kim Kriese (Stevens Point, WI) scored a goal with just 15:06 left to play on Tuesday to propel Marian to a 2-1 victory over MSOE. All three of the game's goals were scored in the second period. With the victory, the Sabres moved to 5-3 overall and 4-2 in the Northern Athletics Conference. MSOE suffered their first conference loss as they are now 6-3-2 overall and 4-1-1 in the NAC.
Marian's Tiffany Erdman (Wausau, WI) shut the Raiders out in the first half as she was credited with one save.
In the second period, Brittany Graham (Alvin, WI) put the Sabres ahead 1-0 in the 54th minute as she found the back of the net. Danielle Grable (Neenah, WI) assisted on the goal.
Less than seven minutes later, MSOE answered to even things at 1-1. Kriese's goal proved to be the difference in the 74th minute as she scored unassisted.
Marian out-shot the Raiders 12-10 in the contest.
Jordan Dykstra (Cedar Grove, WI) recorded two saves in the second period for Marian.
Marian is back in action again on Saturday, as they will host Wisconsin Lutheran College at 2:30 PM.
