Box Score (Rockford, IL) - Emily Reiter (Hilbert, WI) hit a pair of free throws with six seconds left to help Marian erase a 21-point second half deficit and come away with a 60-58 victory. Marian trailed 46-25 with 17:11 to play in the second half, but was able come back to move to 4-8 overall and 2-5 in the Northern Athletics Conference.

The Sabres trailed 40-23 at the break as the Regents appeared headed for the victory. The Regents held their largest lead at 17:11 mark to play in the second and still led 49-29 with 13:33 to play. That is when the Sabres got hot. The Sabres hit four 3-pointers in a row to cut the deficit to 49-41 with 9:35 to play. Brooke Haen (Oakfield, WI) hit two long balls during the run. After a Haen layup cut the deficit to 49-43, Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) hit a three to cut it to 49-46. On Marian's next possession, Reiter hit a layup to cut the deficit to just one.

The Regents were able to get the lead back to five with 5:12 to play, but Marian battled back grabbed a 58-55 lead with :59 to play. The Regents hit a game-tying three with :28 to play, setting up Marian's final possession. After a timeout with ten seconds to play, Reiter was fouled on a screen and connected on the game-winning free throws.

Haen led the Sabres with 22 points as she connected on 4-of-6 from deep. Becker finished with 17 points and tied for the team-high with 8 rebounds. Reiter finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Megan Lawler led the Regents (4-10, 3-4 NAC) with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Rockford shot 41% in the contest, while Marian shot 40%. Marian had a slight 36-35 advantage on the boards.
