(Stevens Point, WI) - UW-Stevens Point completed the weekend sweep of Marian University with an 8-0 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Pointers out-shot Marian 50-8 in the contest and went 2-for-2 on the power play to aid in the victory.

The Pointers scored three times in the first with Jessica Edward scoring twice. In the second, the Pointers scored twice with one of the goals coming shorthanded. They closed the game out with three more tallies in the third.

Marian is back in action again on Friday, as they will host Lake Forest College.
