Box Score (Lake Forest, IL) - Marian University has now won six straight contests as they upended Lake Forest College 6-0 on Friday evening. The Sabres moved to 11-6 overall and 10-2 in the MCHA with the victory.

After a scoreless first period, the Sabre attack exploded as they scored twice in the second period and put the game away with four goals in the final stanza. Marian outshot the Foresters 42-22 in the contest and converted twice on the power play.

Dakota Dubetz (Chestermore, AB) notched his second hat trick of the season as he scored Marian's last three goals. Two of his scores came on the power play.

Brendan Hull (Calgary, AB) recorded his team-leading, 13th goal of the season 12:56 into the second period to get the Sabres started. Todd Collins (Whitby, ON) scored later in the period to make it 2-0.

Nick Cinquegrani (Rolling Meadows, IL) scored 5:50 into the third period and from there it was all Dubetz as he scored the next three tallies.

Tommy Fitzpatrick (Ft. McMurray, AB) finished with a solid evening, registering three assists. Chris Thompson (Woodbury, MN), Nathan Brummitt (Calgary, AB), and Hull all finished with two helpers.

Alex Bjerk (Roseau, MN) finished with 22 saves in the contset for his sixth victory of the season in net.
