Marian wins NAC contest

Box Score (Rockford, IL) - Marian University went on the road on Friday evening and defeated Rockford College 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-15. The Sabres are now 6-13 overall and 2-1 in the Northern Athletics Conference. They will look for the weekend sweep tomorrow, as they play at MSOE.

Marian overcame 12 service errors in this one with a balanced attack and a hitting percentage of .238.

Carlie Kinsey (Waukesha, WI) was in double-figures in kills, as she recorded 14. Erika Heberer (Kewaskum, WI) added 8, while Dana Scheller (Shiocton, WI) added 6.

Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) posted double digits in assists (25) and digs (15), both team-highs.
