Box Score (Madison, WI) - Marian University struck first in Sunday's Northern Athletics Conference Quartefinal game, but Edgewood College scored twice in the second period to pull out the 2-1 victory. Marian ends the season 9-8-1 overall, while Edgewood advances to the NAC semifinal where they will play Dominican University.

Marian's Danielle Donnermeyer (La Grange, IL) put Marian ahead 1-0 just 2:37 into the game off a corner kick. Mariel Bartolutti (Fond du Lac, WI) assisted on the goal. 

The Eagles evened things up 62:26 into the game as Molly Haertle scored. Edgewood then scored the game-winner at the 76:25 mark as Kristina Santaga was able to chip one over Marian's goalkeeper. 

Edgewood out-shot Marian 14-7 and the only shot Marian put on goal was Donnermeyer's goal. 

Tiffany Erdman (Wausau, WI) ended her career with three saves. 

Marian has now finished with a winning record the last three seasons.
