(Superior, WI) - Marian University trailed just 1-0 after two periods on Friday evening, but UW-Superior scored four times in the third period to come away with a 5-0 victory. The Yellowjackets improved to 6-2-1 with the win, while Marian fell to 0-8-1. 

UW-Superior fired off 28 shots in the first period, but Marian's goalie, Kaytlin Ruzicka (Wauconda, IL) gave up just one goal. 

In the third, however, the Yellowjacket attack was too much, as they lit the lamp four times. Becca Kent tallied two goals in the period. 

UW-Superior out-shot Marian 42-17. 

These two teams will square off again tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
