(Mequon, WI) - Concordia University-Wisconsin showed why they are the top team in the Northern Athletics Conference on Thursday evening, as they defeated Marian University 78-47. The Falcons moved to 14-1 in the NAC, while Marian dropped their fourth straight. 

The Falcons never trailed in the contest and built a ten-point lead in the first five minutes of the contest. They took a 43-19 lead into the break. 

Marian was never able to cut the deficit to less than twenty points in the second, despite shooting 46% from the floor in the half. 

The Falcons out-rebounded the Sabres 44-26 and forced Marian into 26 turnovers.

Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) led the Sabres with 24 points, as she was 9-for-15 from the floor. Emily Reiter (Hilbert, WI) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
